They have more to do there than just walk the bridge like a Skycoaster ride, Zip Lining, Aerial Gondola ride that takes you over the deep gorge, a cool Water Clock, Kids Play area, Restaurant, theater and more.
The day we were there, it was extremely windy with constant winds over around 40-50 mph so the had all the rides closed. It was a little scary going across the bridge with the strong wind! We surely hung on to our phones tight and I kept my camera around my neck at all times.
If you're there long enough, you may see the train below running along the side of the river which is pretty cool to see. Above is a photo with a train coming through.
They also have an Rio Grande Locomotive Train on site at the entrance. It is a D&RGW 499 K-37 steam train which was one of an order of thirty standard gauge Class 190 Consolidation type (2-8-0) locomotives built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1902.
They also have a cute little toy train that kids can play in and climb around on.
There is a fee to get into the park so make sure you check the website for updated price information. Make sure you walk up the trail to the Overlook. It's 1.4 mile hike round trip. Most of it is uphill but the view is breathtaking! They do have a little tram the drives around and can take you to different area's of the park. It can get you a little closer to the trail so it's not the full hike but you do still have to hike up to it.
Hope you get a chance to check out this cool bridge. If you're afraid of heights, walking across the bridge may not be for you. But you can still go, sit down at their eating area and still enjoy the view while the rest of your family or friends walk across the bridge. It is worth going to see.
